The Archives at John A. Logan College Library curate historical materials associated with the College and local history.
The Archives consist of paper documents (newsletters, yearbooks, scrapbooks, newspapers, etc.), rare books, photographs, architectural drawings, audio tapes, and digital materials.
The Archives also houses books, paper documents, and graphic materials of the Logan Memorial Collection, which are owned by The John A. Logan College Museum. It also houses books, paper documents, and graphic materials from The Harrison-Bruce Historical Village.
The objective of The Archives is to collect, catalog, and make materials concerning the College's founding (including the College's namesake) available for study, use, and progress.
Archival materials do not circulate and must be used in the Archives area under supervised conditions. Reference procedures are designed to ensure the preservation of the records for future researchers.
